The paper reviews the Joseph J. Ellis’s book “Founding Brothers” and discusses how six prominent personalities like Jefferson, Washington, Adams, Madison, Hamilton and Franklin view the revolution in America. Furthermore, each chapter of the book is thoroughly analyzed in order to analyze the events mentioned in the book from different views.

Chapter 5 and 6 are discusses the lives of two personalities Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. Jefferson is seen as a politician with a belief of having benefits at any cost. He seems to be wearing a mask depicting a personality having two faces. He apparently shows friendly and committed terms with John Adams but on the other hand, he feels no harm to give a stab on Adams’s back. Ellis shows the character of Thomas Jefferson having skilled in cunning that increased the numbers of his fan and would be valued for years but he is man who does not bother to attempt at back as in the case of Adams.
